- Reached an $825,000 settlement for a client, a fashion designer, against a denim apparel company after intense litigation of trademark infringement claims. The firm was retained after the designer was sued, and filed and litigated a countersuit against the apparel company resulting in the settlement in favor of the client.
- A clients, officers of a video distribution company, were sued by another distribution company for copyright infringement relating to the distribution of foreign films. After motions for summary adjudication disposing of certain claims were granted by the court, the plaintiff agreed to settle for much less than it had sought, and the small settlement was fully covered by insurance.
- Obtained judgment after a court trial against an online movie distributor for copyright infringement and misappropriation of name and likeness, including a permanent injunction and recovery of attorney’s fees.
